There's no 100% confirmation yet, but according to someone who was at an all-night Lord of the Rings showcasing in England, Ian McKellen showed up and told the audience that he's re-reading The Hobbit, knows who is going to be playing Bilbo, the script is done and that he'll be back in New Zealand for filming in March.
Oh my sweet mother of God.. this is the most exciting news.. ever. Please God, let the Hobbit films be as good as LOTR. THE ELF IN ME DEMANDS IT!!!11
