This is the same MacGuffin plot that George Lucas was supposedly considering for an Indy sequel. There will also be some kdin of Captain Nemo-type villain utilizing new-style technology. Sounds like they're invoking the "steampunk" style we've seen gain more and more of a foothold in genre conventions, including Comic Con."
First of all, anyone who has seen POTC3 knows that the Fountain of Youth was to be the next direction the plot would go in. Sheesh!
Second, who cares if that's what the next Indy movie was going to be about. How many vampire movies were, and are going to be, released this year? It's not like we haven't been thrown the same plot 16 times in one year before. I guarantee you that both movies will draw just as much attention.. and who says they're coming out the same year, anyway..... We haven't really heard that much about Indiana Jones 5.
Third, wtf is up with all these haterz hating on POTC 3!? THAT WAS THE BEST MOVIE OF THE THREE!!! Shit, guy!
