"Eduardo Sanchez and Daniel Myrick are the two men behind the original "Blair Witch Project," which went on to earn $250 million on a $60,000 budget. Speaking to Everything Film Show, Sanchez has now revealed that he and Myrick have now completed all the story details and will soon be pitching their ideas to Lionsgate.
"Our original idea for Blair Witch was to go through all of the periods of the mythology and make a movie about them," said Sanchez. "And we wanted to start at the beginning and do the story of Elly Kedward, the original [person]... The Blair Witch is named after her."
The story may sound like a prequel, but Sanchez confirmed that it will be sequel and will follow up some 15 years after the original film's characters disappeared.
Myrick has previously told BBC News that "it will have some kind of video element in it, but it won't be a first person hand-held movie," adding that none of the original actors will return."
Might be good.. The Blair Witch Project is one of the only movies ever to really actually terrify me... That, and The Ring. :P
