Some new info on the My Fair Lady remake:
"Cameron Mackintosh, he tells me, has three musical productions — My Fair Lady, Les Mis and Miss Saigon — amber lit as movies. My Fair Lady, with a script from Emma Thompson, should be first off the block. “I have two actresses as potential Elizas, one British, the other American. You’d know their names, but I’m not letting on.” Oh, you tease."
My bet is that the "American actress" in mind is definetly Anne Hathaway.. British is probably Keira Knightley as all the rumours that have been flying around about this movie have been claiming. PLEASE let it go to Keira..... I can't stand Anne Hathaway.. at all.
And, oh Lord, please let Henry Higgins and Eliza's father be cast well, too.. There's so much riding on the casting alone. Ugh!!!!!!
